    Identity Verification is Now Live

Both parties must now verify their identity using a government-issued ID before signing. Powered by Stripe Identity.

Identity verification is now a mandatory step when signing agreements on Discreetly. Both parties must verify their identity before an agreement can be signed, ensuring everyone is who they say they are.

    How It Works

    • Upload your government-issued ID (passport, driver's licence, or national ID card)
    • Complete a selfie liveness check to confirm it's really you
    • Verification badge appears on your signed agreement

The entire process takes less than a minute and only needs to be done once per agreement.

    What is OCR?

OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is the technology that automatically reads and extracts your legal name from your ID document. This means your verified name comes directly from your official government-issued ID, rather than from manual entry. It's the same technology used by banks, airports, and government agencies worldwide.

    Powered by Stripe

Identity verification on Discreetly is built on Stripe Identity, the same infrastructure trusted by thousands of businesses worldwide for secure, privacy-respecting identity verification. Your data is handled with bank-grade encryption and security.

    Your Privacy

Discreetly only stores your verified legal name in a secure, protected database. This is the minimum information required for a legally binding agreement.

All other verification data, including ID photos, selfie images, and document scans, is processed and stored entirely by Stripe. This data never touches Discreetly's servers. You can learn more about how Stripe handles your data in their Identity documentation.

    Both Parties Verify

Both the creator and partner must complete identity verification before the agreement can be signed. This ensures maximum trust and legal standing for both parties.
